With today's latest technology news and the introduction of any new technology, a number of things tend to go through my head. What are the benefits, will it be worth updating my previous kit and how expensive will it be?

Normally, the answer to the last question is very expensive, since you pay a higher price for the latest technology. Many of us will sit on the fence waiting for others to try it out and then let us know if that's all or not.

A lot of times I'm a little skeptical about all the claims that creators will feed us and I wonder what unknown problems or mistakes are lurking around the corner to catch you. Another reason why I convince myself that it is advisable to stay behind is whether this new technology will become the industry ข่าววงการไอที another lame duck. We have seen many of them in the past.

Occasionally, a new technology will seem too good to be true, but then it delivers and hits all the dumb skeptics, including me. The internet, mobile phones, USB, adsl and wifi are great steps forward that I have witnessed over the years, all of them changing the way we work and play.

They play a routine role in many of our lives, and eliminating them now would cause more than an inconvenience, I'm sure. I know that my children would take up arms if I took away their access to the Internet and mobile phones.

The software hasn't been slow, either, and dreams of ten years ago are now a reality. Both hardware and software have progressed together as the hunger for faster, quieter, fresher, and greener technology evolves.

Many companies have benefited from these new advances in technology and it has been interesting to observe how power struggles between them unfold. Some of the so-called heavyweights have almost disappeared, while the new kids on the block like Google and Facebook are huge.

Then there are the big ones like Intel, Microsoft and Apple that have been around since the beginning. He's still strong and just as energetic and resourceful when it comes to product development and marketing as ever.
